Exactly what it says on the tin. Unlike the Dollar Bin and Two-Buck stereoviews, these were handpicked views that I would probably hold on to, if it weren’t for the fact that my wife and I live in a Brooklyn flat roughly the size of a shoebox. If I want to make way for the new, I need to admit that it’s out with the old. Or so my wife says.
These views are all in good shape, of interesting subjects, and all of them have something to recommend them. There are a lot of major manufacturers in here (Kilburn, Bierstadt, Underwood, etc) and a wide variety of topics. Spirit photography, good genre cards, industry, travel, etc., and the more common Great War duplicates (KVC, U&U) are all in this box.
I’ll be sure to actually pop these into a viewer before sending them off, just to make sure every one you order is actually worth owning. While this is, as always, an as-is sale, I promise that these will all be quality cards.
I’ll even attempt to accommodate simple requests. If you’re buying 10 of these, and want a Great War card or two in the mix, I’ll be happy to oblige. If you’re buying 10 of these and want ALL spirit photography, ALL by Kilburn, and ONLY with the titles on verso, you’re going to be disappointed. If you’re looking for anything very specific, go pay market value on eBay or something. But since I’m looking to help people get into stereography with this blog, I’m more than willing to do you a solid!
